I would of replied earlier but I was waiting to see the responses. I am with you on this one as it is purely a conscience fine and will not have any effect whatsoever on total emissions.

In reply to Anon! We maybe are not living in an ideal world but mankind has to change it's way fast otherwise there will not be a world that can sustain humans and a lot of other creatures that are required to keep this planet in equilibrium. We need to produce carbon for our energy needs and no amount of offsetting will sustain our numbers primarily because we use to much and there isn't the available virgin land to sink the carbon into.
